To Our Dear Customers,
We at Windsor Meats wanted to reach out and connect during this difficult time. As a food service business, we are committed to safely serving our communities, providing them with local, ethically raised and nourishing food. With that being said, the health and safety of our customers & employees is our number one priority, and our policies will continue to reflect that as the situation develops. We ask that you give us your patience as we are navigating unprecedented choices on a daily basis.
We have made significant changes to our operations the past week, and would like to outline them for you below:
We are exercising the highest levels of sanitation at all of our stores. This includes wiping down all surfaces frequently throughout the day, and increasing our handwashing frequency and glove usage.
While we continue to allow customers to bring in their own reusable bags, if you do so, our employees will no longer be able to bag your items for you. We will temporarily be waiving our 5 cent plastic (biodegradable!) bag charge until further notice.
If you can, please refrain from using cash at our stores, if you have a debit/credit card available.
With the exception of our Mackenzie stores, the remaining 5 stores have a limit of between 1-3 people in the store at any given time. We ask that customers please wait patiently at the door until their turn. This is not only for the safety of our customers, but also for our employees.
If you are feeling unwell in any way, please do not come into the store. Have someone do a shop for you, or call us ahead of time so that we can attempt to accommodate alternate arrangements for you.
If you would like to place a large order, please give our staff at least 24 hours notice, if not more, before you need it picked up. Please understand that availability on certain items may be uncertain at different times, so bear with us.
Store hours have been adjusted in order for our staff to replenish our cases and stock to better serve you. Hours for each location are at the bottom of this email, and will continue to be adjusted as need be.
If you do not already follow us on social media, it is the best way to stay up-to-date on daily changes to our operations. Our social media links can also be found at the bottom of this email.
Online Ordering is now available through Often Dining. Please see our Online Ordering page for more information and to place an order.
Please follow the guidelines set out by our local health authorities by designating one person in your household to do the shopping. Please shop alone, and not in a family unit if at all possible. Limit your shopping to once per week at the most, when possible.
As always, we thank you for your continued support of small business. As a "little guy", we want to not only guarantee that our staff have a safe and healthy working environment, but also gainful employment during these turbulent times.
